Hi Danny, and thanks for the comment!

Yes, grass is more and more of a pain in the butt each year. Mind you, the ratio of grass to weeds seems to lean more to the "not grass" variety so I guess I should be saying "mow the weeds"....

I like the salt water idea though...

Take care.

Gosh darn I agree !

I'm sitting here pre spring trying to figure out how to keep my grass from growing this summer!

I have even took a tiny puff on the common weed and started to feel intense about it !

I resently rolled out a huge excess of garden plastic and considered covering my backyard with it. The Idea of my neighbors never talking to me and any women in my life all of the sudden becoming distant made me think twice.

I've been here googling for it and going to ask.com. Why havent we invented the invisible ultra gamma ray grass zapper that just a push of a button would resolve my stress.

I hate cutting Grass ! I have to even listen to an mp3 player while sitting my lazy ass on my riding mower every time just to cope! I would even go to the store and buy a fresh battery for it before I would cut without it.

Now that is stress over grass !

Salt water ?

boy I wanna do that !

Good evening Pier-Anna, and thanks for responding to my little collection of rantings. What a small world the Internet has made...

First off, the irrigator. I've continued to be impressed with the Grossan unit. He literally wrote the book on the subject, and the quality of the equipment has been first rate. After seeing the success I've had with it, my Family Doctor (for whom I have the utmost respect) even bought one for his family. I highly recommend them, and yes they do work.

Secondly, I'm so glad your Son has done so well with his LCH. As you know, it's a frequently misdiagnosed little beast, and very very scary. We were blessed enough to be near to one of the finest children's hospitals in the country, and thankfully Jonathan has been doing wonderfully. He's 7 now, and other than some little skin lesions we had excised this spring, the disease has been quiet. And you're right, the Association is truly a wonderful help as well.

Thanks again for leaving your message, and take care.

Dear Phil--
I noticed your site says 'powered by serendipity' and it surely is the case....
I was looking for a user's opinion on a nasal irrigator (Grossan vs Water Pik) and came upon your blog. Reading down the entries, I became curious about your son...and was so surprised to see LCH come up. My son, now 11, was MISdiagnosed with cancer at Stony Brook Univ Hosp when he was just 3. A friend who's a healer told us that they biopsy was incorrect (can you just imagine?)...When we went to Sloan Kettering for a second opinion they re-biopsied and diagnosed LCH, saying radiation would cure it. We continued working withthe healer and in six months all was gone. Of course, back then (2000) post biopsy regression wasn't really recognized as it has subsequently been, but whatever one chooses to believe, I feel blessed. Plus, the people at Histiocytosis Assoc of America were terrific.
I'm glad to hear that your son is doing well!

Peace,
Pier-Anna
