When I was in college, I started writing a book in my spare time called “My Coffee Cup Has Feet” (for reasons which evade me at the moment) to chronicle my observations on life, the human experience and the world around us in general. Like many things started during those years, it lived a very short life being pushed aside for more thought provoking activities such as excessive beer drinking. Following one of the most complicated and draining years of my life, I once again felt the urge to make my thoughts on the universe known. Hence, the electronic reanimation of my former title in the form of this web journal. Over the past couple of years, this site has also become the repository of the Devotional Love Quotes I send to my Wonderful Wife Shannon via SMS on a daily basis. While not all the quotes are published here, I’ve recently begun mirroring them here and plan to continue doing so.

Thank you so much Thom! My apologies for the delay, but this isn’t my primary blog and I’ve been remiss in updating it as of late. My other site: PhatherPhil.org has seen such remarkable and unexpected growth that I’m afraid this site has been relegated to simply housing the daily quotes.
